  • Our Year 7 Sports Tour group ended their 6-day trip to Italy with a memorable rafting activity around Verona's City Walls followed by a tour of beautiful Verona and the famous Juliet balcony. The pupils have enjoyed several netball and football fixtures against local teams as well as volleyball, ultimate frisbee, swim relays and more - making the most of the superb sporting facilities at the Veranello Resort. They also took in the beautiful scenery of the Dolomites and Lake Garda, sampled plenty of pizza and gelato and had huge fun at Gardaland amusement park.   • Pupils from Year 5-Year 8 took part in some exciting tournaments on Saturday and Sunday, kicking off with the U10 boys' football team who enjoyed a fun residential trip to Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre for the Prep4Sport competition. The Year 5's had a great experience, playing plenty of football against other prep schools and enjoying the state of the art facilities. Congratulations to the boys for finishing as runners up out of 11 schools taking part! Our U12 rugby team, meanwhile, were crowned the Cup winners at the St Edmund's College rugby festival while our U12 hockey players also enjoyed a successful day on the pitches there. Finally, the U13 netballers headed to Suffolk to play against local clubs. Well done to everyone who represented Heath Mount over the weekend and a big thank you to our staff members who accompanied them and to all of our hosts.
